Cleaning with the Natural Made

Your eyes are the windows of your soul. They are also the ones that see every streak that you missed cleaning those windows. How irritating that can be. I’ve always had a difficult time cleaning windows and mirrors. The streaks would be looking back at me. My Dad would have us girls help him clean the car. He would give us Windex and newspapers to do the job. I would breathe in that ammonia smell plus have it absorbed through my skin in addition to the ink from the newspaper. As years went by I cleaned with paper towels and products that still had ammonia in them. I have since found a great natural recipe for glass cleaning. It includes one cup white vinegar, one cup water, and 10 drops essential oil such as lemon oil. Place all ingredients in a glass spray bottle and gently shake. Spray on glass and wipe clean with a lint free cloth.

Every three months it is necessary to change your air filter in your home . It is extremely dusty here in the Valley where I live in California. Like the song goes, it never rains in California. So when you install your new air filter, apply three drops of purify oil. This will help purify and cleanse the air of unpleasant odors. Sometimes I will add a few drops of spearmint oil for a fresh scent. Since we are on the topic of cleaning, I also learned to clean my liver from the toxins I’ve been exposed to over the years. I also eliminate wheat, gluten, dairy, processed foods, and sugars as much as possible. I enjoy an enormous amount of fruits and veggies and healthy grains. I avoid red meat and pork. I hydrate with large amounts of filtered water, flavored sometimes with lemon, cassia, grapefruit or basil oil. Dr. Julie Montgomery has a wonderful 120-day cleanse that will clean your system and have you feeling like new.
